Target Audience
Physicians, surgeons, residents in training and allied personnel in the fields of vascular surgery, interventional radiology, interventional cardiology, and other outpatient interventionalists involved in office-based endovascular procedures.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe current practices and new developments in the outpatient office-based management of patients with arterial, venous and coronary artery disease undergoing interventional procedures.
- Discuss new management and therapeutic approaches to patients with these conditions.
- Identify current and upcoming changes in the practice of vascular surgery, interventional cardiology and interventional radiology in the setting of the new health care reform.
- Implement changes into their practice to improvement in patient health outcomes.
