Why OEIS
Built by outpatient interventionalists, for outpatient interventionalists
OEIS is the national voice of the office-based lab and ASC community — leading reimbursement advocacy in Washington, running the National Registry, and delivering CME education year-round, capped by the Annual National Scientific Meeting.
About the SocietyThree paths to Active Membership
Board-certified interventionalists
Physicians performing procedures in outpatient endovascular or interventional labs, certified by an ABMS or AOA specialty and applicable subspecialty board — including Vascular Surgery, Interventional Cardiology, and Interventional Radiology.
Practices with an active member
Physicians who belong to practices offering outpatient endovascular or interventional procedures, with at least one interventionist in the practice who is already an active OEIS member.
Committee review
Physicians who don't clearly meet the first two pathways are reviewed by the Membership Committee case by case, with qualification approved by the Board.
Before you apply
- A current Curriculum Vitae, ready to upload (.pdf, .doc, or .docx).
- One OEIS active member willing to affirm support for your application — or two physician colleagues outside OEIS and your practice who will complete a Peer Survey Form on your behalf.
- Your supporters' email addresses, entered correctly — OEIS emails them the support form when you submit, and both forms should be completed within two weeks.
